30"h x 30"w Medium: acrylic on canvas $600 This painting was inspired by our experience during the pandemic we find ourselves living through, I found myself thinking about how we were all isolating in our homes and how this virus was affecting the whole planet and all its citizens. The earth suddenly felt small. Abstract artist Lynn Dubinsky offered this painting as the collective's fifth challenge. "Life is nothing without art."
About the Artist
 Lynn Dubinsky
Lynn was born and grew up in Northern Ireland. As a young woman she travelled extensively in Europe and beyond, arriving in Canada where she settled in Ottawa and continues to live there with her family.
Lynn works with acrylic, and also enjoys making sculptures with wood and found objects. She draws inspiration from her life of travel, transferring her memories into colour and form. Her art has been shown in a number of Ottawa galleries and Lynn has participated in juried shows which have won her awards.
