Challenge Fifteen

Our first challenge was from photographer Mario Cerroni
Our next prompt came from Kathryn Spooner Bossy who challenged the group to a Winter themed piece.

One of her favourite elements of art, as described in our Newsletter entitled  "The Significance of Seven", is the element of TEXTURE. Our challenge was to combine both Winter and Texture in one piece of art.

Winter in rural Ontario is all about texture, catching the light, the mix of shades of white and muted tones, with the occasional dot of ripe winter berries.

WINTER + TEXTURE

"Winter Landscape", 8"h x 8"w x 2"d, mixed media mosaic creating a textured winter landscape with Japanese, Thai and handmade paper, stained glass, beads and sterling & 24 K gold wire, $200
