"Colours of the Forest"
24”x12”, mixed media mosaic using glass, vintage recycled china and grout on a painted and textured birch panel

Walking amongst the trees in any season can be a cure-all. I have much gratitude and recognize the enormity of privilege in being able to escape to the trees. They have heard me cry, scream and laugh in all the seasons. Their song sings to my heart.

"Solace of Water"
20"h x 20"w, acrylic on paper mounted on birch panel

This piece is all about places where we find solace in troubled times. Many of us feel at peace near water,
simply being near or hearing an ocean, river or lake shore can fill us with an overwhelming sense of calm and serenity with a feeling of well being.

"Tranquility"
11"h x 14"w, photographic print, archival inks on cotton rag paper

"By the Pond"
12"h x 12"w, acrylic on board gallery depth
SOLD

This prompt led me to a lovely spot on a bench by the pond that I used to love to sit on and just dream/reflect and sometimes write. After my walk I would spend time there and enjoy the tranquility of the space.

"Canopy"
25"h x 19"w, embroidery on linen

Blissful tranquility is lying under trees and looking up into the canopy.
