Island Collaboration

Our second collaboration came out of our Artists' Residency in 2021. After all the cancellations and restrictions there was a window of relative safety that we took advantage of. In September 2021 we managed to return as a group to Artscape Gibraltar Point for a full week of art.
Each artist had their own studio space where we were able to concentrate on our projects. COVID restrictions meant masks in the share areas, only 2 'unbubbled' people in the kitchen for meal prep, grocery delivery (no trips to the mainland) and lots of outdoor time. The good news was the weather cooperated big time for outdoor restaurant meals and plenty of beach time. Our Collaborative project was that each artist would create a 6"x6" piece depicting our feelings about finally being able to go to Artscape and create.
