"IMPROV" by Catherine Gutsche

From July 20 to August 26, Sivarulrasa Gallery is pleased to present CATHERINE GUTSCHE: IMPROV, an installation by Ottawa-based artist Catherine Gutsche that explores themes of improvisation in nature and in her practice as an artist. “I explore my attachments to the landscape and the environment – man-made and natural”, she says. “I want to capture an element of continuous entropy in the exterior world, crystallizing it into a permanent depiction of a single instant.”

Artist Talk & Virtual Vernissage: Wednesday August 3, 7:00pm-8:00pm. Artist Catherine Gutsche will be live via Zoom from her studio in Ottawa to talk about her installation. You can join us from the comfort of your home – email the gallery at info@sivarulrasa.com to register for this Zoom event.
